Lazy Bum

Hey guys and welcome to yet another post by moi :)
I hope you are all well.
I'm sorry for not writing any posts recently, I seem to have turned into a lazy bum as revision for exams is taking all my energy.
Anyhoo!
It has been absolute ages since I last posted something high street fashion related so here we go! *drum roll* the shop we are looking at today is... H&M because its just fabulous girls!

I am absolutely in love with these chinos. Every girl should have a pair, and why not get some in this beautiful colour. AND ITS ONLY £17.99 EEEK! How to style this outfit: a light yellow blouse and them red converses will go fabulously!

This amazing blouse is from the recent conscious collection. The print is Quirky and so a must by. The colours are very spring/summer and the best part? ITS ONLY £19.99. Want tips on how to wear this blouse? Put on them skinny black jeans and a mint green hijab and your good to go girlfriend!

Brighten your day with these sun filled sandals. They're only £9.99. Stuck on how to wear them? Put on them blue denim jeans, a white blouse and a candy pink blazer for the ultimate summer outfit.

Quick Update

Hello again my lovelies!
I'm so sorry for not writing for such a long time.
So a lot has happened since my last blogg post. There is now a youtube channels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DM-LOiA-x90
and the facebook page has had an increase in likes (thank you guys).

So where is this blogger going now?
Well I shall keep on blogging but perhaps not as frequently.
As per usual, I will keep in giving style tips.

But now, I shall start selling some jewellery and scarves (some made by me, others hand picked).

Bags

Hey peeps :)
Hope you guys are all fine!
So I had another request to write about bags. So here we go ;D

To me, there are quite a lot of bags for different occasions and are all in different styles. I decided to look at a bag pack, shoulder bag & a clutch. The shop's vary as the good bags can only be found when looked for.
Anyway hope you guys enjoy the post :)

This little clutch is from Very. 

Don't worry its not real snake skin, but the colour and 

imitation of the skin makes this clutch

clutch to wear with that party outfit.

Wear it with a little black dress and some heels

or that leather jacket and skinny jeans. Either way

have fun experimenting!

I have only ever found a good bag pack from Asos.

This one is just shouting out for spring and summer.
Many associate a bag pack with being geeky but
with the right out fit, a bag pack could be that
finishing touch needed.
Why not wear this with a royal blue blazer, plain
white t-shirt and some black jeans?

This little beauty is from Topshop. The price
may seems a lot (£30) but its another investment
that is definitely worth it.
Wear it with causal clothing  or use it as an accessory
to add that extra oomph! 

Uniform *sigh*

I had a request to write a post about school uniforms. So here we go.

We all have to wear a uniform at some point or another. I have to wear one every day as I am still a student. Until recently, uniform seemed to limit the way I wished to express my self. 

However now there is always a way round the rules ;)

So this post shall have a few items below which you can wear to school (after all, a uniform is a uniform with trousers and a blazer).

is not the usual blouse you would see BUT
if you tuck it into some smart chinos
and add a royal blue blazer, it will look
pretty awesome. C'mon give it a try!

With This suit you are following the rules.
There is nothing wrong with a little colour and
this yellow is definitely colourful!
These trousers just scream out "making a
statement" and go well with the blazer.

Forever 21 and Festivals

Hello :D
Hope you guys are enjoying the snow.
So, as you can sort of see, I enjoy looking at clothing a season in advance.
So summer then, well to me it usually means festivals filled with friends and music.
The items of clothing that have been chosen are from Forever 21. This store is absolouteley amazing. They have great shoes and beautiful accessories perfect for any occassion and budget.
The few items picked will look great as you dance to the beat of the songs being played.

Nail Painting

Hey everyone :D Its snowing (yay!) but that does mean that some may be stuck at home (like me) so I thought painting nails would come across as a fun thing to do.

I've posted some pictures of what I done, it only takes 5 minutes per hand if you choose to do the ghosts, the crackle is around 2 minutes :)

actual white is paint.

Portfolio

Hope your all well!
As you can guess by the blogg tittle "confessions of a fashion lover" I am absolouteley crazy about Fashion. I know its something that I wish to do in my future and so I hope to join a university in September.
Some of you guys might have the same aspiration and so I thought that I would show some images of the portfolio (as I hope it helps, for me it was a struggle because I could find no place to start).
The themse (which you will see) is Culture and so I choose to look at the Indian culture as their clothes are quite different from the clothes we all wear in Britain today.
Enjoy :)

The theme was East meets West, so the mood board was based on
westernclothing. As  you can see, it rangesin colour, clothing items
and accessories. This could be a good start for you as a mood board
helps to inspire the future collection!

These were just ideas that were inspired from the mood board above.
Again the ideas are western due to the mood board.

I researched some designers and found Sobia Nazir. She is well known for her
collections and catwalks and so I chose her as I believed her designs would
inspire me.

These are some sketches I made from being inspired by Sobia Nazir.

Next I chose to look at Mariyam Haroon as she is well known for mixing
both Western and Eastern trends in her clothing.

So shoes, who does not love them? No matter what, you will always need them.
So why not be smart and buy them now before the season starts?

They are extremeley comfortable to walk in as they do not
hurt one bit. The green mint colour makes a beautiful additiion
as it means that these can be worn in both Spring and Summer.
This makes their £20 price truly worth it!!!

Flats are a necessity. These amazing flats are only £7.99 on the

Wear them with some chinos and a chiffon blouse!

Midnight Post

January Sales - Clothes

The sales officially started a week ago but it is still not too late to make the most of it. I love shopping and so could not wait to hit some amazing stores (you know like H&M, Forever 21 etc.) and buy a new summer wardrobe.
I have decided to show some of the items found in the sale which I believe will be a great investment for you guys as its at an affordable price and the actual prints and colours will be huge this following spring/summer.
I hope you all find it useful and dont worry, this little shopping spree will not hurt your purse :)

As you can see the print is absolouteley beautiful.
The colours are bold making it perfect for summer!!!

This beauty of a shirt is from Forever 21. It was
bought at £12.99 which perfectly reasonable as it can
be worn in so many ways. Why not opt
for some black skinny jeans and a pair of sandals
or maybe some dark blue denim shorts and pink wedged heels?

This amazing top looks just like a
sweatshirt but the difference is that the
material is made out of chiffon. If you want this
top you can buy it from the New Look sale at only
£7. Now that something worth spending your money
on. This top would look gorgeous with some black
skinny jeans and some red converses.

What I absoluteley love about this material is
that it has the same print as my prom dress from
year 11. The print makes the sweatshirt easy to
wear when going out. how about some shorts
and heels?

The colours on the print go very well together
and with bold colours coming back this spring/
summer, this is a great choice for those who do
not prefer the bold tones.  The print itself makes it
suitable for both summer and spring. And at only

You can not have a wardrobe without a
T-shirt from The Beatles!!! This beautiful
T-shirt was only £3.99 at H&M and will go great
with anything you can think of and
if your out of ideas then why not wear it as a
classic white shirt and blue denim outfit?

First Post EEEK!!!

Well this is my very first little blog so I thought I'd just say what the blog is about. As you can see by the tittle, I am crazy about everything fashion. So it is only natural for this blog to be about fashion trends, clothes, make-up and so on.
